Pneumonia = Miserable

Dad is in the hospital getting treated for his pneumonia. April took him to the ER late last night because he had a high fever. They sent him to Huntsman and the doctors were concerned that his illness was lasting so long.

Today they drained some of the fluid from his lungs and used a scope to determine where his infection is.

Hopefully they can help him feel a little better and get him sent home in the next day or two.

The pneumonia is really keeping him down physically; every time I talk to him on the phone he says he is miserable and his voice is hoarse and interrupted with frequent coughing.

Hopefully this help from the doctors today will be just what he needs.

Thank you for your continued prayers.

    I am so sorry to hear that you are back in the hospital with the icky pneumonia :o(. With your positive attitude I pray that your body will follow the example you have set and may the skill of the doctors, the advancements in medicine, your own personal strenght, faith, love, prayers and hearfelt wishes all work together as an unbeateable team to get you feeling better again.
    I heard this song over the radio and thought of you. "There can be miracles, when you believe. Thought hope is frail, it's hard to kill. Who knows what miracle you can achieve when you believe, somehow you will. You will when you believe.
    I know you are feeling really icky. Please know that our thoughts and prayers are with you and Ate Susan,your kids,your family and extended family.
    We love you.
